  What is their definition of a marginal witness? Is one who is to old they can't do much? Is it one who has physical disabilities where it's hard to even get out of bed? Is it a family who work long hours to support their family that keeps them from meetings? Or a middle age couple who are taking care of their aged parents? And on and on.

  Is it just reading the wt. publication, going to meetings, answering at meetings and standing at a cart in the middle of town that makes you a good witness. It's been this way since I was a kid and it will not change! What's new is they are now putting it out in print in words that most can understand. Very black and white for sure. Still Totally ADD

  so... it has been six years since my last post.

  i wonder who still remembers me?

  a lot has changed and then again, a lot has not.... i'm still out of course as are my children who are doing very well.

  According to Webster dictionary a religion is service and worship of God or the supernatural . A personal set or institutionalized system of reglious beliefs, attitudes and practices. With that said I feel it is a bona fide religion even though it is outside the norms of many reglious institutions and a dangerous cult. Still Totally ADD

  some would have even stayed in the organization if they became a bit more liberal and open minded.

  i appreciate all my friends who stop to read what i write and post.

  you help me more than you know simply by being there as a sense of 'family of friends' for me to talk to and 'share' thoughts with.i guess if i didn't have stories left to tell or people to listen, i could pack it in and join elon musk in a colony on mars.january 15, 2020. .

  which world is this?_________________when the doctor pulled my screaming body out of mom all those 7 decades ago, i landed in a post-wwii world.it was--compared to today's world--an alien planet.the world i live in today has nothing in common with the world in which i grew up.there were no cell phones back then--there were black telephones with a dial-tone and an operator who placed your call.everywhere you found telephone booths!

  PIMI relative complains about convention venue.

  i have just got of the phone with a relative complaining about the convention venue.

  as far as my relative is concerned wt can do no wrong, so for him to say what he did it must of been bad.

  the venue where the convention was held was described to me as a “tin shed with no air conditioning”.

  Maybe it's the lack of money. Back in my youth in the 60's we had many assembly in so called tin sheds with no air conditioners. What about the hell hole in the 1969 open air convention in Atlanta GA with temperatures running near 100 degrees with humidity to match.

  i'm a former member of dunnville, port colborne and welland congregations.

  i left at age 15/16 officially but stopped going/believing at age 12/13.. i'd love to meet someone who used to be a part of one of those congregations!.
